This weeks Top Movies on the Telly

Heat - (FilmFour Monday 29th May 23:10)
Quite simply, the barometer for all heist movies since it's release, this Michael Mann directed action drama also contains two of Hollywood's greatest actors in top form and share incredible (albeit short in minutes) on screen chemistry. This film is most definitely worth yet another look!

Boyhood - (RTE2 Friday 2nd June 21:35)
Fascinating and technically groundbreaking yet undeniably real in it's execution this outstanding Oscar nominated drama from Richard Linklater may seem long at 166 minutes but worth every minute as this highly original tale of real life delivers on every level. Classic.

Legend (Channel 4  Saturday 3rd June 21:00pm)
This biopic of Reggie and Ronnie Kray is worth catching alone for the outstanding performance of Tom Hardy in the dual role of both Reggie and Ronnie. Flawed in parts but the sight of Hardy in full artistic flow and joined with a talented supporting cast this British crime thriller is definitely worth a watch.
