What movies to watch this weekend?

In the Cinema:

Mindhorn
Produced by Steve Coogan and from the brains behind such comedic delights as the Mighty Boosh this comedy about a former actor turned real life PI should be a welcome addition to the UK comedic riches that have gathered over the last number of years! Starring Julian Barratt as Mindhorn this should be of particular interest to fans of UK spoof comedies and has a Partridgesque feel about it!

At Home:

Passengers
This Morten Tyldum directed sci-fi thriller didn't enjoy the best of reviews on it's initial release but with the ever reliable and popular Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence headlining, there maybe enough here to satisfy sci fans and fans of two very talented and charismatic actors.

On Telly

Flatliners (BBC1 Saturday 6th May 12:10 am)
If nostalgia is your thing, then why not check out this Joel Schumacher directed film from 1990 that features a stellar cast in the younger days including Kevin Bacon, Kiefer Sutherland and Julia Roberts in this horror thriller that deals with five medical students experiments with the afterlife. (although it is on a little late!)
