A new cast, new director and a third bite at the Spiderman apple, initial reviews are quite positive for this reboot with the new life being given to what had become a faded franchise! The blockbuster season is still in full swing and this may just be one of the better choices out there at the moment!

Natalie Portman is superb in Pablo Larrain's extremely personal look into what was an extremely private world. This is film that will not lose effect on the smaller screen and should be seen if only for Portman's mesmerising performance.
On Telly
Begin Again: (BBC 1 Friday 7th July 00:05am)
One of John Carney's lesser known films, it is nonetheless a highly entertaining musical drama filled with great performances and fantastic songs which include contributions from Carney's long time friend and former bandmate Glen Hansard. Worth a watch!
