This weeks Top Movies on the Telly

American History X - (ITV4 Monday 7th August 22:00)
A powerful and compelling drama from director Tony Kaye and featuring a career high performance from the magnificent Ed Norton this film is gripping and one that will stay in your memory long after the final credits roll. Worthy of repeated (if at times uncomfortable) viewing.

Groundhog Day - (SKY 1  Tuesday 8th August 21:00)
This is one of my all time favourite comedies as Bill Murray steals every scene as the grumpy newscaster Phil Connors caught in the same day over and over again. Smart, sweet and most importantly infectiously funny, this is simply a comedy classic from beginning to end!

Terminator 2: Judgement Day - (ITV4 Wednesday 9th August 22:15)
A chance to see this blockbuster classic on the small screen before it's limited big screen re-release, this James Cameron directed film combines groundbreaking special effects with sharp storytelling and characters that the audience can relate to. Cinematic nostalgia was never so much fun!
