Predator - (Film Four Tuesday 11th September 21:00)
A quick refresh for fans of the franchise before Shane Black's reboot hits our big screens this Thursday, this sci-fi/horror/action thriller stars Arnold Schwarzenegger at the peak of his powers and is a well lamented nostalgic favourite of 80's cinema. Predator 2 follows directly after for those interested!
Handsome Devil - (RTE One Wednesday 12th September 21:35)
After the success of The Stag, director John Butler follows up with the highly enjoyable Handsome Devil, a movie dealing with the unlikely friendship between two totally different boys at boarding school. Andrew Scott almost steals the show as teacher Mr. Perry but overall a very enjoyable comic drama! Read my full review here
Dredd - (Film Four Thursday 13th September 23:10)
Far superior reboot than the Sly Stallone vehicle, that really captures the grittiness of the source material and aided in no small part by some devastating special effects and an exceptional performance from Karl Urban in the title role. Highly entertaining!
