5 great movies coming your way this April

After a high quality start to the year, this month sees a slight drop of in quality as blockbuster season gets into full swing. There are however still lots of quality features worth catching this month so without further ado here are a selection of just some of the great films making their way to a cinema near you this month:

5. A Quiet Place
Husband and wife pairing John Krasinksi and Emil Blunt both star (with Krasinski making his directorial debut in this modern horror thriller feature where a family of four must navigate their lives in silence after mysterious creatures that hunt by sound threaten their survival. If they hear you, they hunt you! Yikes!

4. Blockers
Directed by Kay Cannon (writer of the Pitch Perfect series) this latest comedy blockbuster boasts a solid ensemble cast in Leslie Mann, Ike Barinholtz and John Cena and has been earning very favourable reviews in the US so may be one for fans of good comedy this April!

3. Michael Inside
Written and directed by Frank Berry, this IFTA winning feature was a huge hit at the recent Dingle International Film Festival and is sure to gain huge success on it's general release this month. Highly recommended!

2. Tully
Directed by Jason Reitman and written by Academy Award winner Diablo Cody this comedy feature comes with a solid and talented cast in the shape of Charlize Theron, Mark Duplass and Ron Livingston Curiosity and supported by a skilled director and sharp and brilliant writer is sure to be a big hit with audiences!

1. Avengers: Infinity War
The "NOW That's what I call  superheroes" of all movie productions, this huge blockbuster has been marketed and hyped to phenomenal levels and is on a lot of movie fans "must see" lists of 2018. A feast for the eyes, it should pack the cinema theatres this April!
