This weeks top movies on the Telly

The Worlds End - (Film Four  Monday 6th November 21:00)
The final chapter in the wonderful Cornetto trilogy, this Edgar Wright directed comedy finds Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in fine form supported by an all star cast in a film that finishes the Pegg/Frost/Wright partnership in some style. Worth checking out!

Bridesmaids - (ITV2 Tuesday 7th November 21:00)
Gamechanging comedy by Paul Feig that has the quite remarkable knack of being half chick flick half buddy comedy but is nonetheless one of the funniest comedies produced in recent times. Kirsten Wig and Maya Rudolph lead the line well but it's undeniably the scene stealing Melissa McCarthy's show! Hilarious!

The Wrestler(TCM Thursday 9th November 23:35)
Featuring a Golden Globe winning performance from the outstanding Mickey Rourke, this compelling drama contains a rich and highly emotional narrative lifted to higher levels by Golden Lion winning director Darren Aronofsky and the aforementioned Rourke in his breathtaking lead performance. Note late start time though - may be one for the Sky+ box!! Highly Recommended!
