Fantasy and Fun at Kerrys Inaugural Comic Con

The weekend of April 1st -2nd saw the very first K-  Con take place at the INEC in Killarney.
Presented by (Dublin Comic Con) K-Con (Kerry Comic Con) was described as a place for all movie fans, tv fans, gamers, geeks and anyone in general who loves sci fi, fantasy, horror, anime, games etc to meet up and see some amazing props/displays and have a great weekend.
Stars of the big screen and small including Lord of the Rings and Indiana Jones star Johanthon Rhys Davies, Starship Troopers stalwart Caspier Dien and Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendan were all available over the two day event to pose for photos, attend signing events and take part in Guest Panels at the National Events Centre in Killarney.

The action packed event set over two days in the majestic settings of Killarney also saw Movie Screenings, Props and Costumes from famous movies on display, an Artists table and exhibitor stalls all make up part of what was an undoubted success at it's first time of asking.

The INEC was a hive of activity over the two days with visitors eager to take in the special guests, admire the props and merchandise on show or just marvel at the costumes and revelry on display!

Outside the centre knights of Westeros from Medieval Armoured Combat Ireland entertained the crowd with their highly skilled combat displays!
Overall, all visitors to the first (of hopefully many) K-Cons (both young and old) left the event highly entertained and thrilled by the props, pagentry and entertainment on show. Here's to K-Con 2018!
