What movies to watch this weekend

In the Cinema:

Fast & Furious 8
Tailored for a particular audience, this over the top action film may not be for everybody but there will be no denying that it will look impressive on the big screen as the Fast & Furious crew appear in the eighth  movie of this action packed franchise.

At Home:

Sully
In case you missed it in the cinema, this is another chance to see this Clint Eastwood vehicle Sully starring the always superb Tom Hanks in the tale of  heroic airline pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, and  his incredible successful emergency landing of an Airbus A320 full of passengers on the Hudson River. Well worth a look.

On Telly

The World's End (RTE2 Saturday 15th Apr 21:00 pm)
Another chance to see the last of Edgar Wrights Cornetto trilogy as Simon Pegg and Nick Frost and a strong supporting cast combine in this hilarious film that revolves around an epic pub crawl revisited by five childhood friends. Classic.
