Tralee Omniplex Tuesday Treat - What new release movie deserves your €6 this week?

There are just three new releases for your consideration for this weeks Tuesday Treat at Tralee Omniplex. A long awaited marvellous Marvel sequel and a romantic drama with a talented cast and superb director. Not a large selection but surely something for everyone in Tralee Omniplex this week and all for the giveaway price of €6.

Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 2:
Reviews have been largely postive for this follow up to the 2014 smash Guardian's of the Galaxy. If the original movie got you giddy there's a good chance this will do the same, as despite missing the surprise factor of the first movie, all the traits that made it so popular on arrival are here in spades in this sequel (and another kickass soundtrack to boot!)

The Promise:
Set during the crumble of the Ottoman Empire this latest drama feature by Terry George hasn't enjoyed the warmest of reviews by the critics despite it's interesting premise and an outstanding cast including Christian Bale, Oscar Isaac and Charlotte le Bon. Still may be worth a look if Marvel movies aren't quite your thing.

The Zookeeper's Wife:
Based on the real life story of The Zookeeper's Wife tells the account of keepers of the Warsaw Zoo, Antonina and Jan Zabinski, who saved hundreds of people and animals during the German invasion. Critics have been less than kind to this dramatic tale but with a powerful story and a talented cast including Jessica Chastain and Daniel Bruhl this may be worth your €6!
