Tralee Omniplex Tuesday Treat - What new release movie deserves your €6 this week?

There are four new releases in Tralee Omniplex for your Tuesday treat this week, from Oscar winners to comedy to superhero to crime drama so surely there is something there for everyone and at a bargain €6.

Moonlight:
There isn't much more I can say about this multi-award winning movie from Barry Jenkins and my review which you can see here is gushing in it's praise of this incredible film. Now that it has finally reached Tralee Omniplex and is getting the mass audience it deserves due to its Academy Award success, do yourself a favour and check it out while you can!

Logan:
Hugh Jackman's final turn as Wolverine comes in James Mangold's original take on a superhero movie favouring heavy drama and even heavier violence as our protagonist attempts to shepherd a girl with special powers from dark forces and a villain from his past. Positive reviews but not for the squeamish! Also available in MAXX Screening.

Fist Fight:
Whilst this was a movie I was looking forward to considering the comedic cast involved which includes Ice Cube, Charlie Day and Tracey Morgan this caper from director Richie Keen seems to have bombed with the critics. Still, if you have enough of heavy Oscar dramas, are a fan of comedies and want some light entertainment, this may just be worthy of your six euros!

Trespass Against Us:
A film that I reviewed just yesterday, this crime drama from debutant director Adam Smith promises a lot but fails to deliver despite solid performances from Michael Fassbender and Brendan Gleeson. If you are a fan of both actors or of Shane Meadows type work this may be enough to sway you to give this movie a chance!
