What movies to watch this weekend

In the Cinema:

Logan
From director James Mangold comes Hugh Jackman's final turn as the unmistakeable Wolverine as he is requested to protect a young girl against some unfamilar and familar old foes. Reviews for this movie are already quite positive as Jackman makes the most of his final outing in this role as the gritty, uncompromising Logan in a rather surprisingly thoughtful super hero movie.

At Home:

I Daniel Blake
Another solid offering from director Ken Loach that follows a 59 year old joiner in his attempt to navigate the British benefits system. This powerful drama was nominated for five BAFTA's winning Outstanding British Film of the Year.
Moving Drama.

On Telly

Jackie Brown (ITV4 Saturday 4th Mar 23:00 pm)
One of Quentin Tarantino's under rated films, a stellar cast and told in the directors unique style, Jackie Brown is undoubtedly worth another look, especially for the magnificent performance of Pam Grier and Oscar winning turn from Robert Forster.
