Following on from a previous post where I listed the best movies under 90 mins in length for those with little or no time on their hands, I've now deiced to narrow that search to just include Netflix movies (for those of us too lazy to rifle through the DVD collection or go to the cinema!)
Here are my choices:
Quite simply the shiny example that all spoof comedies are compared to. Full of slapstick humour and quotable lines this neat 88 mins film is the original of the species and merits repeated viewing surely (*Don't call me Shirley!)
Hilarious comedy horror starring the always reliable Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone and Jesse Essenberg this 2009 film breathed new life (pardon the pun) into the zombie genre movie and includes one of the all time great movie cameos by Bill Murray and at 88 mins doesn't overstay it's welcome!
Powerful documentary that will forever change the way you look at the performance of killer whales.This moving and heartbreaking film is a shining example of the power of a well made documentary and will resonate with the viewer long after the 83 mins running time has elapsed.
Proof that the Irish movie industry is alive and well as this caper comedy set in County Cork deservedly enjoyed lavish praise on it's initial release. This smartly written film is both heartwarming and funny in equal measure and is a great way to spend the 83 min running time.
This Wes Anderson film for all ages is a feast for the eyes as an all stellar cast and exceptional animation bring a Roald Dahl classic to life in a unique and visually stunning manner and should be able to keep everyone's attention for the 87 min running time!
