What movies to catch in June!

Although it's already nearly two weeks into June , there are some great movies coming between here and the start of July. Blockbusters, biopics, heist movies, comedy and family features are the order of the day for the picks of selected movies for June. A lot to choose from this month and something to please all tastes!
Here are a selection of what this month has to offer to the avid movie goer!
                        

5. My Cousin Rachel
Written and directed by Peter Mitchell, this period mystery piece starring Rachel Weiss and Sam Clafin has been earning rave reviews and maybe a nice alternative to the noise and fanfare of the simmer blockbuster movie!

4. Wilson
Woody Harrelson stars  in this Craig Johnson directed comedy in this tale of a lonely, brutally honest middle aged grump who reunites with his estranged wife and meets his teenage daughter for the first time. Harrelson has rightfully earned all the plaudits for leading role and it's worth the entrance fee alone to see him (as usual) deliver yet another strong performance.

3.Churchill
A film that has split the critics and audience across the Atlantic this biopic which deals with Winston Churchill's struggles 96 hours before D-Day will appeal to war drama and history buffs alike but the performance of Brian Cox in the lead role is also worth viewing in this retelling of one of the most significant events in world history.

 

2. Baby Driver
A heist movie starring Jamie Foxx, Kevin Spacey directed by Edgar Wright and featuring a kick ass soundtrack. Enough said! Where do I sign? Should be one of the hits of the summer with a line up like that, behind and in front of camera!

1. Despicable Me 3
The family friendly series returns as Gru and co. continue their adventures in the third movie in this extremely successful franchise which is sure to have a strong impact in the summer box office!
